"Cartoonist Paul Merklein entertained Liberty students recently with a demonstration of drawing and a message of how to be a Super Hero in the school community. Besides drawing famous Super Heroes, Merklein addressed the issue of bullying and how students can be Super Heroes themselves by standing up for those who are victims of bullying or need a friend. The assembly engaged students and was well received across the grade levels. Merklein gave his drawings to be displayed at the school to remind students to stand up for what is right.
